REHABILITATION
4 STEP PROGRAM
THIS 4 STEP REHABILITATION PROGRAM IS CYCLICAL IN NATURE.

As Biokineticists, we add value to each patients rehabilitation journey by a carefully created system that focuses on targeted clinical and exercise testing, optimal exercise prescription while ensuring appropriate exercise technique, supervision and monitoring. All these factors contribute to the successful implementation of a resistance training program during pathological conditions. We have a maximum of 4 people per session.

STEP 1
ASSESSMENT
An assessment consists of 45-60 min subjective and objective evaluation. The aim of an assessment is to establish modifiable risk factors that may contribute to your current injury/illness. This is performed with targeted clinical and exercise testing.

These sessions allow you to get comfortable with the process. A maximum of 4 sessions are available where all additional testing and processes of the exercise intervention will be performed and communicated.
STEP 2
ONE-ONE SESSIONS

STEP 3
REHABILITATION
This is where we truly get to work. During these sessions, the planned exercise interventions are performed by the patient while the Biokineticist ensures appropriate technique, supervision, and monitoring. A maximum of 4 people per session are allowed.

An option of two monthly packages is available:
Option 1: 8 x Rehab sessions– 2 sessions per week
Option 2: 12 x Rehab sessions – 3 sessions per week

The real deal. We consider this as one of the most important facets of the rehabilitation process – re-assessment. After a 4-6 weeks period of exercise intervention, the patient must be re-tested to determine the impact of the exercise intervention as a resolution of the current injury/illness. These tests will provide scientific evidence to the patient and the practitioner if the exercise intervention is working or has worked and allow the practitioner to modify or adapt their current approach.
STEP 4
RE-ASSESSMENT
ACHIEVING YOUR GOAL!
Shared decision making
We know each individual is different. Considering multiple factors as well as the scientific data that was gathered throughout step 4, the patient, as well as the clinician, will make the decision concerning the readiness to return to activity, sport, or performance.
